These are NOT for casual players or pickup groups. Success requires practice, communication, and dedication. What Makes Raids Special Requires EXACTLY 12 guild members Unique exclusive gear (Voracious Void set, etc.) Special badges for completion Some of the hardest content in the game True test of guild coordination ⚠ Warning Raids are significantly harder than anything else in the game. Expect to fail many times before succeeding! Prerequisites & Requirements Guild Requirements You MUST Be in a Guild Raids are guild-exclusive content Cannot be accessed by solo players or non-guild members Your guild must have progressed enough to unlock Battle Island Unlock Battle Island Must have a guild with unlocked Battle Island Costs Azoth to unlock (guild progression required) Raid gates are located on Battle Island Guild must have completed prerequisite achievements Raid Key Acquire a Raid Key (various sources) Key Master role can insert key into raid gate Key is consumed when raid is activated Player Requirements Level & Gear Recommended: Level 150+ (max preferred) Best-in-slot gear or close to it Optimized stats for your role Proper pet with relevant talents Skills Deep understanding of your school Combat strategy knowledge Puzzle-solving ability Ability to follow complex instructions MUST be able to communicate clearly Technical Stable internet connection Voice communication (Discord strongly recommended) Several hours of uninterrupted time Patience for learning and wiping Team Composition & Roles Raids use a complex role system split across three groups working in parallel. Here's the standard 12-player structure: Vanguard Group Combat Focus · 4–6 players Dedicated to continuous combat Progress raid through battle phases High DPS requirements Need to survive sustained fighting CTO Combat Team Outside · 2–3 players Handles combat in outside areas Separate from Vanguard battles Assists STO with puzzles Flexible role requirements STO Support Team Outside · 3–4 players Focused on mechanics & puzzles Deactivate Mana Drain (Drum Puzzle) Solve mana chest puzzles Find important tokens CRITICAL — raid fails without them Why This Structure: Raids have simultaneous objectives across different areas. Combat happens while puzzles need solving. Groups must work in parallel — communication between groups is essential. Pre-Raid Preparation Mandatory Preparations 1. Lock Your Loadout CRITICAL: Once you enter the raid gate, you CANNOT change your equipment, deck, pet, or anything else. Triple-check everything before entering! 2. Build Your Deck Role-specific cards only Remove unnecessary spells Include utility (healing, shields for some roles) Practice your rotation beforehand 3. Stock Consumables Potions if allowed (check raid rules) Treasure cards for your role Mastery amulets if needed 4. Study the Raid Watch successful run videos Read strategy guides Know every mechanic beforehand Understand YOUR specific role completely Team Preparation Strategy Session (ESSENTIAL) Meet before raid to assign roles Go over every phase and mechanic Assign specific jobs (who does what, when) Establish communication protocols Set up voice channels properly Communication Setup Main raid channel (all 12) Sub-channels for groups (Vanguard, CTO, STO) Designated shot-caller Clear call-out system Practice Runs Expect to fail many times Each failure teaches mechanics Some guilds do practice raids just to learn Document what works and what doesn't Raid Activation Step 1 · Gather at Battle Island All 12 players port to Guild House Navigate to Battle Island Gather at the raid gate Step 2 · Insert Raid Key Key Master role member inserts the key Key is consumed regardless of success! Step 3 · Activate the Gate All 12 players must cast Magic Touch on the battle ring Everyone must participate Gate activates and raid begins Step 4 · Formation Entry Enter in pre-assigned order Final players entering shouldn't rush (known bug) "Form a line and proceed at a walking pace" Raid Mechanics & Strategy Phase-Based Combat Phase Structure Phase 1: Initial battles, learning mechanics Phase 2: Increased difficulty, new mechanics Phase 3+: Boss encounters, full integration Final Phase: Maximum difficulty Phase Transitions Often triggered by objectives May involve area changes Puzzles may unlock next phase Team must be ready to adapt Key Mechanics Mana Drain Mechanic Continuously drains mana from all players STO team must solve Drum Puzzle repeatedly Deactivating requires constant attention Failure = no mana for combat = wipe Drum Puzzle Specific pattern must be played Requires 2+ players coordinating Must be repeated throughout raid Critical for mana sustain Mana Chest Puzzles Additional puzzle elements Provide resources or unlock areas STO team responsibility Timing can be crucial Token Collection Important tokens scattered in raid STO team searches while others fight May be required for progression Easy to miss — requires thorough exploration Combat Cheats Bosses have unique cheat mechanics Require specific counters Must be learned through experience Coordination essential to handle Time Pressure Time Limits Raids have overall time limits (varies) Certain mechanics trigger at specific times "Montage" line appears around 1:45 mark (varies) Speed is important but accuracy more so Millispeeder Achievement Complete raid within tight time limit Requires nearly perfect execution Optional challenge for experienced groups Common Raid Strategies Vanguard Combat Buff Rotation Coordinate who blades/traps when Don't overlap identical buffs Healers keep team alive Efficient kill order on enemies Target Priority Focus fire on priority targets Don't scatter damage Call out targets clearly Adapt to mechanic triggers STO Puzzle Strategy Drum Puzzle Assign specific players to drum duty Rotate if needed for sustainability Practice the pattern in advance Communication is key Token Hunting Systematic area search Mark checked locations Report findings immediately Don't get distracted by combat CTO Support Flexible Response Be ready to fight OR solve puzzles Fill gaps where needed Support STO when overwhelmed Jump into combat when Vanguard needs help Resource Management Conserve mana wisps Use energy efficiently Healers prioritize critical targets Don't waste powerful spells early Advanced Raid Tips Communication Best Practices Call-Outs Short, clear, specific "Shield up" not "I think maybe we should shield" Use player names: "John, blade Sarah" Acknowledge important calls: "Got it" Voice Discipline Mute when not making calls Shot-caller gets priority Emergency calls override routine Stay calm even when stressed Learning from Failures After Each Wipe Discuss what went wrong Identify specific mistakes Adjust strategy Don't blame individuals — learn as team Document Everything Keep notes on mechanics Record successful strategies Video your runs for review Share knowledge with guild Optimization Time-Saving Optimize travel paths Faster combat rotations Parallel tasking (puzzle while fighting) Minimize dead time Resource Efficiency Don't over-buff Conserve potions for critical moments Wisps should be planned Energy management for cantrips Raid Rewards Exclusive Gear Voracious Void Set (and others) Unique stat combinations Not available anywhere else Often best-in-slot for specific builds Tradeable within guild (check rules) Drop System Boss drops occur throughout raid May need multiple runs for full set RNG-based More bosses = more drops typically Badges & Achievements Completion Badges Show raid completion Multiple tiers for different raids Prestigious to display Proof of skill Challenge Badges Speed runs No-death runs Special condition completions Extra bragging rights Common Raid Mistakes Insufficient Preparation — Going in blind = guaranteed wipe Poor Communication — Silence or chaos both fail Wrong Gear/Deck — Can't change once inside! Ignoring Mechanics — Can't just DPS through everything Solo Mentality — This is TEAM content Giving Up Too Soon — Raids take practice Rage/Toxicity — Kills team morale Not Assigning Roles — Everyone can't be DPS Success Timeline Week 1–2 Learning Phase Study mechanics Multiple wipes expected Learn through failure Build team chemistry Week 3–4 Progress Phase Get past early phases consistently Start reaching mid/late phases Refine strategies Improve coordination Week 5+ Success Phase First clear achieved!
