GGU Bot Role Assignment Commands

Commands are used to assign roles via GGU Bot. Always run the mainline role command first before the game-specific tag.

 

 

If you need Server Manager or Community Manager access on any platform (including Discord) please ping @ Alex Thunderhunter or @ Admiral MacK for help.

All commands are toggles — you can add or revoke roles with the same command. If you have access to give a role, you have access to revoke it.

When promoting anyone to a higher rank, fully remove their previous access before granting their new access to prevent the spacer roles from breaking.

Example: Promoting someone to TF2 Moderator:
!mod @user — Assigns the global Mod role
!tf2mod @user — Assigns the TF2 Mod tag role

 

Global Roles

 

Core hierarchy roles. Run these first when assigning any staff position.

• › !retired — Retired

 

Specialized Roles

 

Standalone roles for specific departments. No paired mainline command needed.

• › !unimanager — Universal Manager

 

Game-Specific Tags

 

All game-specific commands assign only the game tag. Pair with a global role command (e.g. !staff, !mod, !manager).
