Forum Guidelines Welcome to Golden Gamers United — the rules for our Forums are listed below. These rules are followed by Mods when a rule is broken. Please note that the rules outlined below are only guidelines — Mods may not follow them in some cases. 1 Advertising — Do not send links or images related to other communities or websites with the intent of promotion or recruitment. 2 Doxing — Do not release private information about another user without their permission, or regarding yourself (i.e., address, phone number, IP address). 3 Forum Alt Accounts — Do not make alternative or spare forum accounts. If your alt account is found, we will simply close the account. 4 Harassment, Slurs and Discrimination — Keep it kind. Do not harass other members. Do not use slurs that target demographics or engage in prejudice against other individuals. 5 Malicious Links — Do not post links with the intent of acquiring information, harming another user, or gaining access to another user's accounts or computer. 6 Necroposting — Do not post on topics that have not had a response in over 3 months and have already reached a conclusion. Suggestion threads and open-ended threads (e.g. "Favorite Game Mode") are an exception as they are considered in-progress. 7 Spamming — Do not engage in the spamming of topics, private messages, status updates, or anything similar. 8 Shitposting — Do not create low quality or meaningless posts.

Garry's Mod Rules Welcome to Golden Gamers United — the rules for our Garry's Mod server(s) are listed below. 1 No cheating, map exploits, scripts or hacking to give yourself an unfair advantage against other players. 2 No sharing links that contain cheats or other malicious content. 3 No advertising or recruiting for other communities, servers or groups on GGU servers. 4 No Ban Evasion — no making another account to get around an existing ban. 5 No disrespect — respect your fellow players and community representatives. Don't promote Racism, Hate, and Harassment on our servers, this includes racial, homophobic or sexist terms. 6 No server disruption — this includes Chat/Mic Spamming, Griefing, Trolling or abusing the report feature. 7 No Threatening to DDoS our servers or other players — this will result in an immediate ban, even if it's a joke. 8 No scamming, sharking or phishing other players or community representatives — this includes intentionally low balling the price of items or stealing players' items by deceptive means. 9 No impersonating other players or community representatives in GGU. 10 English is GGU's preference for communication. How to Use This Procedure: This document preserves the operational detail of the long-standing TF2 procedure: each offense has a specific escalation path, required proof, and rule-specific notes. The Global Moderation Standard governs evidence integrity, appeals, conflicts, and Leadership review; this document tells a TF2 Moderator what to actually do. How to Read “Proof Required”: Each checklist describes the minimum evidence a Moderator should submit for that offense. A complete submission should prove the player’s identity, the underlying rule violation, and each required escalation step that occurred before the ban. If a listed step was skipped because an immediate-ban exception applies, the evidence should make that exception clear.
