	<p>
		Welcome to <strong>Golden Gamers United</strong>!
	</p>

	<p>
		We're excited to have you as part of the community.
	</p>

	<p>
		GGU is a multi-game community built around playing together, meeting new people, supporting our Game Teams, and creating the kind of gaming community people actually want to come back to.
	</p>

	<p>
		This guide covers the basics of being a GGU Member, where to find things, how to get involved, and who to contact when you need help.
	</p>

	</p>

	<p>
		Golden Gamers United has been building and hosting gaming communities since 2016.
	</p>

	<p>
		GGU operates across multiple games, community platforms, Game Teams, events, development projects, and other community activities.
	</p>

	<p>
		You do not need to stay within the game that originally brought you here.
	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Your Member Role</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		Becoming a GGU Member means you are officially part of the Golden Gamers United community.
	</p>

	<p>
		Membership is more than a Discord role or Forum group. Members are encouraged to participate, meet people, join games and events, and help create a welcoming community.
	</p>

	<p>
		As a Member, you may receive:
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			GGU Member recognition on supported community platforms.
		</li>
		<li>
			Access to Member-related community areas where applicable.
		</li>
		<li>
			Eligibility for additional community roles.
		</li>
		<li>
			Opportunities to participate in Game Teams and other GGU groups.
		</li>
		<li>
			Eligibility to pursue Moderator or other Leadership positions when openings are available and requirements are met.
		</li>
		<li>
			Access to community events, projects, and other Member activities.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Community Ranks &amp; Leadership</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		You will see a variety of ranks, roles, and colors across GGU.
	</p>

	<p>
		Some members may also hold Game Team, Staff, Development, Design, Social Media, or other Leadership positions.
	</p>

	<p>
		The general Game Team Leadership structure is:
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			<strong>Moderator</strong> - Helps enforce rules and moderate GGU game servers.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>Staff</strong> - Supports Moderators and helps manage Game Team server operations.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>Manager</strong> - Leads an individual Game Team or Department.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<p>
		GGU also has higher Leadership positions that help oversee multiple areas of the community.
	</p>

	<div style="border-left:4px solid #ffb300;padding:10px 14px;margin:16px 0;">
		<strong style="color:#ffb300;">Need Help?</strong><br>
		You do not need to memorize the Leadership structure. If you contact the wrong person, we can help direct you to whoever handles the issue.
	</div>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Game Teams</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		Game Teams are the groups responsible for supporting specific games within GGU.
	</p>

	<p>
		Depending on the game, a Game Team may:
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			Operate dedicated game servers.
		</li>
		<li>
			Maintain game-specific rules and guides.
		</li>
		<li>
			Run events.
		</li>
		<li>
			Support guilds, clans, or other in-game groups.
		</li>
		<li>
			Maintain Moderators and Server Leadership.
		</li>
		<li>
			Test new server content.
		</li>
		<li>
			Help players get involved with that part of GGU.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<p>
		You are encouraged to participate in as many areas of the community as interest you.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Finding a Game Server</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		The GGU Server Network page provides a live list of available servers:
	</p>

	<p>
		<strong><a href="https://gguclan.com/servers/" ipsnoembed="false" rel="">https://gguclan.com/servers/</a></strong>
	</p>

	<p>
		The server directory can show information such as:
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			Game or server type.
		</li>
		<li>
			Server name.
		</li>
		<li>
			Current player population.
		</li>
		<li>
			Maximum player capacity.
		</li>
		<li>
			Current map where supported.
		</li>
		<li>
			Online or offline status.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<p>
		The server network changes as GGU launches, updates, retires, or experiments with different servers, so the live server list should be used instead of relying on an old static list.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>GGU Events</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		GGU hosts community activities across supported games and platforms.
	</p>

	<p>
		Events may include:
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			Game nights.
		</li>
		<li>
			Tournaments.
		</li>
		<li>
			Server events.
		</li>
		<li>
			Guild events.
		</li>
		<li>
			Community celebrations.
		</li>
		<li>
			Launch events.
		</li>
		<li>
			Special seasonal activities.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<p>
		Watch Discord, the Forums, and the GGU website for upcoming events.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Optional GGU Tag</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		Members may use the optional GGU community tag in games that allow it:
	</p>

	<div style="border-left:4px solid #ffb300;padding:10px 14px;margin:16px 0;">
		<strong>★ GGU ★</strong>
	</div>

	<p>
		The tag is optional unless a particular Game Team has a separate requirement.
	</p>

	<p>
		If you choose to represent GGU publicly, remember that your behavior may be associated with the community.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Community Expectations</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		GGU is meant to be a place people enjoy spending time in.
	</p>

	<p>
		As a Member:
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			Treat other community members with respect.
		</li>
		<li>
			Follow the rules of the platforms and servers you use.
		</li>
		<li>
			Avoid intentionally creating unnecessary drama.
		</li>
		<li>
			Do not harass or target other members.
		</li>
		<li>
			Respect Staff and moderation decisions while using the proper process to raise concerns.
		</li>
		<li>
			Help new players and members when you can.
		</li>
		<li>
			Remember that disagreements can normally be handled without becoming personal.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<div style="border-left:4px solid #ffb300;padding:10px 14px;margin:16px 0;">
		<strong style="color:#ffb300;">GGU Culture:</strong><br>
		Play together, help one another, and leave the community better than you found it.
	</div>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Activity &amp; Staying Involved</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		Members are encouraged to remain reasonably involved with GGU.
	</p>

	<p>
		Activity does not mean you need to be online every day.
	</p>

	<p>
		There are many ways to stay involved:
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			Play on GGU servers.
		</li>
		<li>
			Talk with people in Discord.
		</li>
		<li>
			Participate in Forum discussions.
		</li>
		<li>
			Attend community or Game Team events.
		</li>
		<li>
			Participate in a GGU guild or in-game group.
		</li>
		<li>
			Help other players.
		</li>
		<li>
			Contribute to community projects.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<p>
		Extended inactivity may affect membership standing according to current GGU activity policies.
	</p>

	<p>
		If you know you will be away for an extended period, use the applicable Leave of Absence process or notify Leadership where appropriate.
	</p>

	<div style="border-left:4px solid #ffb300;padding:10px 14px;margin:16px 0;">
		<strong style="color:#ffb300;">Real Life Comes First:</strong><br>
		If you need time away, take it. Letting Leadership know about an extended absence simply helps us understand that you intend to return.
	</div>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Getting More Involved</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		Membership is only the beginning if you want to become more involved with GGU.
	</p>

	<p>
		Opportunities may exist within:
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			Game Teams.
		</li>
		<li>
			Game Server Moderation.
		</li>
		<li>
			Development.
		</li>
		<li>
			Graphics &amp; Design.
		</li>
		<li>
			Server &amp; Map Design.
		</li>
		<li>
			Social Media.
		</li>
		<li>
			Events.
		</li>
		<li>
			Guild Leadership or game-specific groups.
		</li>
		<li>
			Community projects.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<p>
		Openings and requirements may vary depending on the Team or Department.
	</p>

	<p>
		If something interests you, talk to the appropriate Manager or Leadership member.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Interested in Becoming a Moderator?</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		GGU Game Teams may recruit Moderators to help maintain their servers.
	</p>

	<p>
		Moderators are expected to:
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			Understand the rules of their Game Team.
		</li>
		<li>
			Remain reasonably active.
		</li>
		<li>
			Help players.
		</li>
		<li>
			Handle rule enforcement fairly.
		</li>
		<li>
			Communicate with Server Leadership.
		</li>
		<li>
			Represent GGU appropriately.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<p>
		Moderator openings and application procedures are handled by the applicable Game Team.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Forums &amp; Guides</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		The GGU Forums are more than a discussion board. They are also where many permanent community resources are maintained.
	</p>

	<p>
		You may find:
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			Game guides.
		</li>
		<li>
			Community announcements.
		</li>
		<li>
			Game Team information.
		</li>
		<li>
			Rules and policies.
		</li>
		<li>
			Applications.
		</li>
		<li>
			Event information.
		</li>
		<li>
			Technical guides.
		</li>
		<li>
			Community history.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<p>
		If you are looking for information that should remain useful longer than a Discord conversation, the Forums are a good place to check.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Discord</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		Discord is one of the main places to keep up with day-to-day GGU activity.
	</p>

	<p>
		Depending on your roles, you may see:
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			General community channels.
		</li>
		<li>
			Game-specific channels.
		</li>
		<li>
			Game Team announcements.
		</li>
		<li>
			Events.
		</li>
		<li>
			Support areas.
		</li>
		<li>
			Voice channels.
		</li>
		<li>
			Guild or group-specific areas.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<p>
		If you believe you are missing channels you should have access to, contact Leadership so your roles can be checked.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>TeamSpeak</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		TeamSpeak remains available as another GGU voice platform.
	</p>

	<p>
		Member and Game Team roles may be assigned through TeamSpeak Server Groups.
	</p>

	<p>
		If you use TeamSpeak and your roles are missing, contact an authorized member of Leadership rather than attempting to recreate or change permissions yourself.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Need Help?</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		If you have a question or problem, there are several ways to get help.
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			Ask in the appropriate Discord support or Game Team area.
		</li>
		<li>
			Contact a Moderator for routine game-server questions.
		</li>
		<li>
			Contact Staff for more involved Game Team issues.
		</li>
		<li>
			Contact a Manager when the issue involves a Team or Department.
		</li>
		<li>
			Use the Forums when the issue is better suited to a longer discussion or formal process.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<p>
		If you are not sure who handles something, ask. You do not need to understand the entire GGU Leadership structure to get assistance.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Reporting a Problem</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		If you experience a problem with another player, Member, Moderator, or member of Leadership:
	</p>

	<ol>
		<li>
			Keep relevant screenshots, videos, logs, or other evidence.
		</li>
		<li>
			Avoid escalating the situation publicly.
		</li>
		<li>
			Contact the appropriate Leadership member or use the applicable report process.
		</li>
		<li>
			Explain what happened clearly and provide the available evidence.
		</li>
	</ol>

	<p>
		If your concern involves the person you would normally report to, contact someone higher in the Leadership structure.
	</p>

	<p>

	</p>

	<p>
		<span style="color:#ffb300;"><span style="font-size:20px;"><strong>Account Security</strong></span></span>
	</p>

	<p>
		Protecting your community accounts helps protect both you and GGU.
	</p>

	<ul>
		<li>
			Use a unique password for your accounts.
		</li>
		<li>
			Enable two-factor authentication where available.
		</li>
		<li>
			Never give another person your password or authentication codes.
		</li>
		<li>
			Be cautious of unexpected links or files.
		</li>
		<li>
			Do not log into GGU-related services through suspicious third-party pages.
		</li>
		<li>
			Report suspicious messages claiming to be from GGU Staff.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<p>
